The Brain Student Fellowship Program is a cohort of Baldwin Wallace University. Ten students are selected for the program each year and I, Ta'Lasia Colvin, am lucky to have been chosen as part of the first group.

The program calls on students to develop a civic vision and to put their ideas into action. The goal being to educate and empower the Baldwin Wallace community on local and global issues.  Students engage in a structured civic leadership curriculum rooted in theories of servant leadership, community engagement and social change. Thus far, we have discussed such topics as community mapping, organization, creative problem-solving, event planning and conflict mediation. Our aim as a Brain Student Fellow is to take a stand, highlighting issues of concern on campus and within our local area.
